Target Marketing Home Biz

Internet Marketing Strategies     Target marketing is a strategy not commonly used in network marketing, but it’s such a powerful tool to recruit leaders into your business. Focusing on people who have been successful in other careers and who have characteristics and skill sets that line up with your business can add people to your team who will take your opportunity and create a new success story for themselves. Look for leaders.

There are lots of different marketing strategies in the network marketing business. The direction you take is often determined by the ‘norm’ for the team that you join or the particular business and product you have chosen. Sometimes, however it is essential to ’step out of the mold’ and try new strategies that may not be the norm for your team or for your business.

It is really important not to close the door on different ways to market your business. Keep your options open and consider new methods. Some people want to be silent, not talk to anyone and generate passive income on the internet. Good luck to you, because most of those so called ‘earn millions while you sleep’ businesses and business strategies simply are bogus and don’t generate anything.

Some businesses focus on warm market (talking to friends and family), situational marketing (approaching people when you are out and about during your day), Web 2.0 (blogs, You Tube, My Space, etc.), Magazine or newspaper advertising, pay per click, and the list goes on and on. Maybe you do all of these things, but have you considered target marketing? Target Marketing is focusing on certain types of professionals whose skill sets or characteristics line up with your business. Target marketing is critical to growing your business!

For example, in network marketing there are several key characteristics that you would typically want to find in someone who could be a leader in your business. Here are some of the characteristics you want in finding leaders:
- Outgoing
- Paid on Production
- Self-motivated
- Strong communications
- Have a high tolerance for risk
- Thrive on competition
- Have goals for themselves to do more

You want to ‘recruit’ for your business just as companies recruit for key positions in their businesses. You want to focus on people who are up the socio-economic chain and who are serious about wanting a business of their own. If people are not willing to invest in your business and thus in their own future, then they are not the right people for you. Successful people are more open to opportunity. Successful people will recognize a great business opportunity when presented to them.

relationship marketing     Target marketing is a focused effort and you need to put together a program to help you do this within your organization. It isn’t hard, just takes a little time investment to put it together. Create a focus group within your team. Hold weekly conference calls to strategize and exchange ideas. Take those ideas and put together a marketing program such as phone scripts, ways to find the professionals you are looking to target, brochure(s), CD, power point presentation, custom web pages, etc. Whatever your strategy, you will need to contact prospects and ask them to review your information. You need to have your information in a form that is easy to get to them and enticing enough for them to be willing to take a few minutes of their time and review it.

Keep your focus group in place and give ‘homework’ assignments so that those in the group go away with the materials in hand and put them into action. Get back together routinely for a few weeks to get feedback and see what is working and what isn’t. Refine your program as you go along.

Target marketing is an excellent marketing strategy. It allows you to market to people who have the characteristics and skill sets needed to be successful in a network marketing business. It costs you nothing other than a little time investment. The rewards can be tremendous.

Ethical Marketing Tips

A helpingpreneur is someone who’s making a living by making a difference. Someone that supports, heals, or helps other groups or individuals in their business.

So being a helpingpreneur, you have special gifts to offer. You have wonderful abilities, great wisdoms and you have the purpose of changing outcomes and helping people change their lives and their circumstances. Because of that, I know that you have a service heart.

Step right into implementing the three things I’m going to give you here in your business and life, because it will make all the difference.

First of all, clear yourself in preparation for more money, more clients, and more business. One of the first things I ask a private client when they begin to work with me is, "Do you have room and time for clients? Do you have room and do you have time for this business?"

You may need to clear clutter. When I say clutter I mean a few different things, I mean physical clutter, but I also mean mental clutter. You may have so many different things going on for yourself, obligations and things you have to do, that it’s very challenging for you to get started.

I just want you to think about, "What could I remove from my calendar, from my life, that is something I’m doing because I feel obligated and it’s taking up some precious time that I could actually be putting into the building of my business?" You need time and space to allow more business and more clients into your world.

Are you prepared? Can you mentally say to the ideal client out there, "I’m ready for you. I’ve prepared the way. When you show up, I’m going to take care of you." Do you have agreements in place, a welcome packet, administrative systems?

While you’re building your business, put systems in place so your infrastructure is ready to accept growth. Create a vision for what you want your business to look like within the bigger picture of your life.

The second element that you can implement immediately to help more people and make more money this month is to ask. It seems basic, ask. It is so often overlooked. Have you asked for more business? Have you asked for more clients? Have you asked people to work with you?

The second part of asking is having a plan. "How am I going to ask? Where can I go to ask?" Take that vision that you worked with in part one and apply it to the plan. This is really key.

The third element you can implement right away is learning to receive, rather than need. The question I ask that’s attached to receiving is "are you grasping for opportunities or are you receiving opportunities in your business?" Re-center your thinking on the value you bring to each client, so you move away from ‘needing’ and into an open state of ‘receiving’ who’s being attracted to you by this unique posture.

Let’s review these ideas for you to implement right away, the first thing was to clear clutter both physical and mental, prepare for the clients and create a vision for yourself and the clients.

The second was ‘ask’, understand what you’re asking for and make a plan for asking. Then actually go do it, ask consistently and constantly.

The third idea was to receive, eliminating the need, listening for opportunities, and posturing yourself to attract business.

Apply these three shifts to your business and you’ll see remarkable results.
